Emission testers receive a fine up to RP. 15 million



Four offenders attended the Tipiring session, while the other two were decided without the presence of offenders or absentia by the judge.

Jakarta (Antara) – Six offenders with regard to the obligation to pass the vehicle emission test in Jakarta received a fine of an amount between RP1.5 million and RP15 million by the district court of North Jakarta.

This decision was read in a small criminal trial (Tipiring) that was held on Wednesday.

“Types of vehicles that do not succeed the emission test are dominated by vehicles of heavy goods such as trucks Tractor headA bath tanks and tank car, “said the Head of the Civil Servant Investigation Division (PPNS) of the Jakarta Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) DKI Jakarta RM Tamo Sijabat in Jakarta.

Tamo said that they were scored in a joint operation on Tuesday (3/6) to enforce Regional Regulation number 2 of 2005 in MallFeang, North Jakarta.

The activities were carried out by the environmental agency in collaboration with the Jakarta Satpol PP, DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency and the Jakarta Metropolitan Police Gakkum Subdit.

“Four offenders attended the Tipiring session, while the other two were decided without the presence of offenders or absentia by the judge,” Tamo said.

The head of PPNS Satpol PP DKI Jakarta reminded drivers and vehicle owners not to be carefree in the use of fuel because this can influence the results of the emission test.

He then asked the owner and the driver to use fuel in accordance with the standard and routine maintenance of the vehicle.
