Jakarta (Antara) – The Hajj Organizing Agency (BP) ensures that the Saudi Aarabic government cancels the discourse of the Indonesian pilgrim quota to 50 percent, after the trust in the Hajj management by the Indonesian government through the formation of the Hajj Organization Agency.

“The discourse is developing because they want to give a kind of warning. They do not yet consider the implementation of this year’s pilgrimage from Indonesia,” said Dahnil at a press conference in Jakarta, Wednesday evening.
According to him, the proposal of quotas pruning as a form of anticipation, so that the problems that took place in the Hajj season 2025 were not repeated in the implementation of the coming year.
The results of the discussion between BP Haji represented by the head of BP Hajj Mochammad Irfan Yusuf with the authority of Saudi Aarabia stated that the discourse would not be continued.
“They told us that Saudi still has a lot of faith in Indonesia, especially for President Pabowo,” he said.
That trust, Dahnil said, was based on the steps of the president that formed a special institution to treat the implementation of Hajj more professionally and focused.

“The president has formed a new management in the form of a Hajj organization agency. This shows the dedication of Indonesia to improve the Hajj board,” he said.
Dahnil emphasized that the community did not have to worry about the issue of pruning the quota. The government will be completely escort so that the Indonesian pilgrimage quota does not decrease.
“What is clear, the president and us will ensure that the quota is not cut. In fact, we hope that the quota can be added in the future,” he said.
The discourse of pruning the Hajj quota is a hot topon of conversation in the community. Because, if this happens, it will extend the waiting time of potential Indonesian pilgrims. The waiting time can be up to 25 years in a number of places.
