Jakarta (Antara) – Cabinet secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said that President Prabowo Subianto was chairman of a limited meeting (Ratas) with a number of ministers in the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, to discuss the development of development “Gigantic Sea wall” (Giant Sea Emangment) along the north coast (Pantura) of Java.

Seskab explained that this initiative was one of the government’s efforts to protect coastal areas susceptible to the affected climate change and rising sea level.
Development Gigantic sea wall This, Teddy said, is also expected that it not only protects the coastal area against the threat of wear, but also functions to increase the resilience of the environment and to offer clean water sources for coastal areas in need.
“The formation of this dike is expected to prevent Rob water, to reduce the decrease in the coastal area and to become a reservoir of clean water,” added Seskab.

Through this project, the government hopes to offer better protection to people who live along the north coast of Java and ensure sustainable resilience of the environment for the future.
Based on the information collected, the Coordinating Ministry (Kemenko) in the field of infrastructure and regional development or GPA coordination remains with various parties with regard to the gigantic sea -dike project or Gigantic sea wall.
Project Gigantic sea wall is a continuation of the plans that have been drawn up earlier. Since 2016, the Ministry of Public Works has been working with the Netherlands and South Korea for the study of the construction of navigations ranging from Cilegon to Gresik with a long projection of 946 km.
In addition to discussing the willingness of the sea -Dijk, the president was also chairman of a limited meeting with regard to waste management throughout Indonesia.
The government has also started the national movement with regard to waste management by establishing cooperation with investors via BPI and between Indonesia.
