Bandung City (Antara) – Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin asked the public to remain aware of the transfer of COVID -19, although the case in Indonesia is currently still under control with the level of numbers Positivity Below one percent.
“In Asean countries we see a small increase in cases. That is why friends in Indonesia must remain vigilant. If there are symptoms of coughing, take the test immediately,” Budi said in Bandung on Tuesday.

Budi explained that the number of COVID-19 cases came from the subvarian that was categorized as not killing the patient.
He emphasized the importance of applying health protocols, such as wearing masks and washing hands, especially if in an environment that shows symptoms of increased cases of breathing.
“If there is a cough like this mas who uses a mask, God wants, there is no more dead. Discipline wears masks, washing hands and maintaining distances is still very important,” he said.
The Minister of Health also explained that the variant that is currently dominant in Indonesia is the Subvarian Omicron that tends to be weaker, especially for those who have received vaccination.

He added that although there was a slight increase in cases in various ASEAN countries, the circumstances in Indonesia were still relatively safe and did not show an alarming increase.
