There is one passenger who needs further maintenance
Kendari (Antara) -Alif Motor Boat (KM) Berkah with passengers and crew (ABK), no fewer than 352 people, walked on Monday evening in the water of Bokori Island, Konawe Regency, Konawe Regency, Southeast -Sulawesi Province (Southeast -Sulawesi).
Head of the Search and Relief Office (KPP) or Basarnas Kendari Amiruddin when he was met in Kendari on Monday evening, said that KM Alif Berkah reportedly founded on Monday (9/6) around 18.32 Wita.
He said that on the basis of the report there was a ship with 346 passengers and six crew members who were founded while passing through Bokori Island through shallow water.
“At 18.50 Wita, the KPP Kendari Rescue Team was sent to the scene,” said Amuruddin.
He said that when the SAR team arrived at the location, his party KN SAR Pacitan immediately mobilized because the condition of the wooden skip passengers reached hundreds of people.

Amiruddin said that the passenger’s evacuation process lasted quite a long time from 8.15 pm to 10 pm because it used a rubber boat to KN Pacitan.
“There is one passenger who needs further treatment that is mobilized by rubber boat to the Kendari Basarnas Pier who was then taken to Santa Anna Kendari Hospital for medical action,” he explained.
Amiruddin said that after evacuating 345 passengers, KM Sar was then on their way to the Kendari pier around 10:30 PM, while the six AKB KM Alif Berkah 01 chose to stay because it waited for the tide so that their ships could be taken ashore.
“With the arrival of the KN Sar Pacitan ship in the Kendari Basarnas Pier who safely wears all passengers of the ship,” said Amiruddin.
The operation also included teams of Polirud Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police, Lanal Kendari, KSOP, KP3 Kendari, Tagana Southeast Sulawesi and Kartana.

In the meantime, one of the ICA passengers (20) claimed before the incident, a hull was heard as something. The situation made passengers in a panic because the water started to enter the hull of the ship.
“Passengers panic until someone screamed, but we were given to stay still,” said IcA.
He admitted that there were hundreds of passengers and dozens of engines on the ship.
“Some passengers were on the roof of the ship,” he said.
He admitted that according to the first schedule, the ship should leave Langara Port at 1 p.m. Wita afternoon. Normally the estimated trip to Kendari for three hours.
The new ship, however, left around 16:00 Wita without a clear notification to the passenger of the ship owner with regard to the delay in the departure.
“We don’t get the reason why, but it seems that they also fit in the engine,” he explained.
