His artistic career began in his house. It is not very common in the music industry.
I really think it’s something more common than it may seem, because at the same time I was made in many other rooms. Recently, music has been democratized, where many people have started to be recorded in social networks, which is the way it did not exist 15 years ago. My case was very unique because of four songs I had a big impact.
What led him to start giving a camera before playing his version?
The original idea was to share songs with friends. I noticed some questions and went up on social networks. I realized that every time I started the song, a stir was generated. I didn’t understand anything why I do something for friends, under a pseudonym, so I couldn’t recognize, grew and grow.
I had no expectations of what he was saying.
It was a clean leisure time. It is true that you always have a dream and you move illusions as it can prevent you, but there was no clear expectation. In fact, this illusion is the one that still leads me to this day. I still have no expectations and even the distinctive goals that I have to meet. Certainly what I have is the ambition to know how far you can go on this journey I travel.
Do you remember the first important calls from the records?
It was like seven years ago, when there were offers that came to Instagram instead of the phone in many cases. I went to my first concert in Madrid and in the presentation there were people from the industry I knew me. I thought, “But how do I know me when I have two songs alone? I remember the first steps as very rare, but fortunately they went well and we go to the second album.
“Spanish leather” is the name of your second studio album, what does this project mean to you?
All albums are strange, but I think it means a point on my tour after these seven years since I started making music in my room. This new album is going to the city of the child who grew up in the city and left behind all the origin and the traditions that have already impregnated in it. For me it represents the inheritance of the past, but without a work of art, the folklore that is already owns our skin. We are all the result of the tradition of the place where we were born, and it caught me, instead of telling stories anchored in the past and transmit the idea that our folklore is always present in us.
He and his people will always be able to transfer the public to the past and the future at the same time. Is it a style that defines you, which is part of your identity?
In this album, I tried to reflect a toxic relationship with this genre where the wisdom of the past is ignored and you are willing to discover new things. The “Spanish skin” has a character I represent that I live this feeling, but eventually realizes that it cannot separate from it. The city of the city or that it defines us will always be there, and it will also happen to Álvaro, me. I am very clear that people move me today.
With the “Spanish skin”, in addition to this report, identity also took a step towards maturity.
I think it’s something that arises itself. I feel that maturity was reflected in a way to show and express. I had fewer prejudice to say certain things. I had a lot of pressure on my first album and maybe I hid behind production. On this occasion, I wanted to give the letters a great importance and that the production was something secondary. I told more personal stories with which I am more identified.
Your career is meteoric, does it have time to enjoy your way?
These last three weeks since the release of the album are very intense. During the process of creating “Spanish skin” I had fun and these days I thought I was afraid that during the phase in which the public is accepted. I enjoy a lot and the feeling that this moment does not end, it inspires me a lot and helps me move on.
Is it still the same city in the city despite success?
I stay the same, with more layers, but exactly the same person. Finally, as I say, I never had any expectations and I received everything I came with with open arms. I feel grateful for the people who accompany me on the way and it allows. Over these seven years, I have developed many people who have evolved with me on “Spanish skin” and it is something I feel very happy for.
This Friday works in his second house, although it could be the first.
My parents are two of Zaragoza. Zaragoza has always been in my life with Cañart Cuevas (Teruel), where my grandmother and Benicssim lived. I have a great connection with Aragon, my artistic name already says everything. In fact, the first song of the album is called Babieca!

I’m very excited. The last concerts I had in the city have always finished crying. My family and friends will come and it will be even more strange. I will interpret the song in honor of Aragon and I hope it is one of the most special concerts of this tour.
