Jakarta (Antara) – The Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono strongly condemned the interception of ships Madleen That help transported to Gaza and the kidnapping of its volunteers as a new violation by the Israeli Zionist regime against international law.

“The action again shows the indifference of Israel against international law and is a serious blow to the people of Gaza,” Sugiono said on platform X that was seen from Jakarta on Tuesday.
He said that the land and sea blockage of the Gaza Strip by Israel was a form of collective punishment that increased the risk of humanitarian disasters and massive hunger in the Palestinian bags.
In accordance with international law and instructions of the International Court of Appeal (ICJ), Sugiono said, Israel is required to ensure that humanitarian aid is constantly channeled and without obstacles, and the safety of humanitarian employees in Gaza guaranteeing.
On the other hand, he appreciated the initiative of international activists who tried to open a maritime course for the distribution of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
“Probably this does not lead to the focus of access to help from land routes that remain the most urgent need,” Sugiono said.
He claimed that the opening of all the auxiliary paths that was possible for Gaza was a must, as continued by Indonesia on various international forums.
Sugiono promised to repeat this at the High Level conference (Summit) on Palestine in New York, USA, in the near future.
“I will call on the international community, in particular the UN Security Council, to act decisively to protect citizens and take a resolution to end the blockade and to guarantee access to humanity in Gaza,” he said.
According to the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, ship Madleen Provide very urgent help for Gazans, including baby formula milk, flour, rice, diapers, water treatment equipment, as well as the range of medicines and medical equipment, crutches and prosthetic equipment for children.
The ship brought 11 activists and a journalist. Among them are Swedish climate activists Greta Thunberg, member of the European Parliament Rima Hassan, bloody France-Palestine, and Al Jazeera Mubasher journalist from France, Omar Faad.
