Jakarta (Antara) – CEO and Antara Rosan Roeslani responded to news with regard to financing requests from PT Garuda Indonesia Airlines for the planned purchasing of 15 aircraft units.
Rosan, in the presidential palace complex, Jakarta stated on Tuesday that the request was still in the evaluation phase by the company, along with an extensive assessment of all sowers under their auspices.
“Yes, that evaluates in the Holding section. Not only Garuda we evaluate all existing SOOs. How can they improve and optimize existing assets,” Rosan said when confirmed.

Bloomberg on Wednesday (4/6) reported that PT Garuda Indonesia investigated the possibility for new financing injections of around 500 million US dollars from and between, the business management of State Wealth Funds.
This step is part of the efforts of the national airline to reverse the financial situation that is still pressed after the structured.
According to a number of Bloomberg sources that knew this interview, financing agreements had the potential to be reached as soon as possible in June or July 2025. The injection of the funds is expected to be carried out in two phases.

Some of these funds are planned to be assigned to Citilink, a Garuda daughter company that deals with low cost flights segments, to exploit more than a dozen aircraft fleet that were previously inactive.
The government would also consider the possibility of transferring Citilink’s control to PT Pertamina (Persero), although the discourse is still in the first discussion phase and there has been no definitive decision.
