Bandung (Antara) – The Indonesian national team player Beckham Putra expressed his willingness to make a maximum contribution when they qualified in front of Japan in Group C of the World Cup 2026 in the Suita City Stadium, Osaka, Tuesday (10/6).
Beckham, who is known, known, Etam, claimed to be ready to answer the trust of coach Patrick Kluivert if he had the opportunity to appear in this important competition.
“What is certain is that Etam has to stay focused and answer the coach’s confidence if it is given later to play. Hopefully everything in the game will go smoothly and get the results we expect,” said Beckham in a statement received in Bandung on Tuesday.
Although the Indonesian national team has ensured to qualify for the fourth qualifying round, Beckham insisted that the match against Japan remains important as a capital confidence in the team to face the next phase.

“I have to take this opportunity. Especially if the results are good, I will add my confidence and the national team to watch the next important games,” he said.
The call to the Senior Squad was this time a special moment for Beckham, since this was his debut at the Senior Indonesian national team.
Earlier he became part of the U-22 National Team Squad who won a gold medal during the 2023 Sea Games in Cambodia.
“Hopefully the national team can be eligible for the next round, achieve the best performance. I can also learn from other players in the national team, because many also play in the external competition. So this is a very valuable moment for me,” he said.
The Japanese national team has been confirmed that it is eligible for the World Cup Final 2026, while the Garuda team has also locked a ticket for the fourth round of the world cup qualification.
